I have sent my mom a package, I am sure that you will really like what I put in there other than what I owed you already.
Here are some pictures of the shawl that I had crocheted for her for Christmas I think. Here is me modeling it along with my big ole pregnant body….
And here is one of the back. You can’t really see the details but the yarn is so soft and it is kinda rumbly with lots of texture. I plan to make one of my own for this winter….I really like it.
Because it was her birthday last week. (29 forever!) I added a few other items to the box for her. Like this….
And a few other soaps that I had left over since they were so nice to use….(give them away if you don’t want them.)
Love you mama.
It has been awhile since I wrote last. Right now I am listening to the Monkees, while I wait for some work to come my way and Jay is asleep.
We had come back yesterday from visiting family in Alabama. My sister came up from Florida with her three kids and then I had mine and my sister in AL has her one.
Jay just loved playing with his older cousins. He had such a good time following Gabe around and wrestling with him.
And this week we have my husband’s mom with us for a week and it has been wonderful so far. She brought her step grandson as well and Jay has been so busy playing with them that I actually have time to work and do other stuff that I have been wanting to do for eons.
I hope that everyone had a good Mother’s day. Here are some pics of the stuff that I made for all the mothers in my life. This little pack has bubble bath, lotion, Yuzu soap, Oatmeal, Honey and Milk Soap, Cherry Vanilla Lip Balm, and a crocheted wash cloth.
Before I get to far along, I thought that I would add these soaps and pictures of the soaps so that you can see what I have been doing.
White Tea and Ginger
Sandalwood and Vanilla
Beach and Honey, Oatmeal
and my Oatmeal, Honey, Milk Rebatch soaps.
They all smell so wonderful…sigh!
I am so excited since I finally got the Bubble Wash, and c lay for the shaving soaps that I want to do. I will post pictures once I have them finished so it might not be for a while though…
