Finally, an update...

I finally have a chance to sit down and give an update on what has been happening around here, which to say isn't much other than my children are growing up. I had my birthday last Wednesday and that was nice that my family did something small for me. My husband got me a bread maker and a Food Saver. I love both of them. Normally I would want something that I didn't think that I needed. A Splurge, since I don't get to many of those any more. But this time I got what I wanted and love them.  We have had fresh bread since I got the bread maker and am planning more stuff to make with it.  And my Food Saver....how cool is that. I already got in trouble with the man from, he says, wasting the bags to vacuum seal things in. How sad is that...the older you get the more excited you get when your family gets you kitchen appliances.

My siblings and I are planning to go to Oklahoma to see my brother graduate from basic training in the Army. This is going to be some trip for certain. It will be me and my two kids, My sister Meredith and her three kids, my brother Peter, My sister Krissy and her husband and one kid. So all total there will be 11 people caravaning across the midwest to see our youngest brother graduate. We are all going to come back gray headed...but it will make memories for certain. At least we will be able to look back and smile and laughed even it it might take a while.

So that is it at the moment. Nothing to spectacular going on...

Will miracles never cease!!

Our day out...
